Emergency Medical Services:

The fire department responds on approximately 500 calls annually, the majority of which are EMS emergencies. All fire department employees are EMT trained and Certified minimum. The department is also approved to provide EMT- Optional Skills. This allows a higher level of care, with trained members also being able to administer the following medicines: Narcan, Epinephrine, Albuterol, Nitroglycerine and Glucagon.
