{"id":25828,"date":"2026-09-03T10:46:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T17:46:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cityofguadalupe.org\/?post_type=lsvrnotice&#038;p=25828"},"modified":"2026-09-03T10:46:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T17:46:21","slug":"notice-of-request-for-proposals-rfp-wastewater-collection-and-treatment-improvements-planning-study","status":"publish","type":"lsvrnotice","link":"https:\/\/cityofguadalupe.org\/es\/notice\/notice-of-request-for-proposals-rfp-wastewater-collection-and-treatment-improvements-planning-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) Wastewater Collection and Treatment Improvements Planning Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>CIUDAD DE GUADALUPE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT IMPROVEMENTS PLANNING STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>POR EL PRESENTE SE DA AVISO<\/strong> that the City of Guadalupe is soliciting proposals from qualified Engineering firms (Consultant) to provide a Wastewater Collection and Treatment Improvements Planning Study for the State Water Resources Control Board Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Planning Project.<\/p>\n<p>The selected consultant will assist the City in evaluating alternatives for improving its wastewater collection and treatment system, including evaluating regional wastewater treatment opportunities with the City of Santa Maria, preparing a Project Engineering Report, preparing environmental documentation, assisting with funding applications, providing fiscal planning, and performing preliminary engineering for the preferred alternative.<\/p>\n<p>The work is funded through the California State Water Resources Control Board Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Planning Program.<\/p>\n<p>Qualified firms with demonstrated experience in municipal wastewater planning, wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, environmental documentation, and State Revolving Fund projects are encouraged to submit proposals.<\/p>\n<p>The City intends to award one professional services agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, request clarification of proposals, negotiate with one or more firms, or cancel this solicitation at any time if it is determined to be in the City&#8217;s best interest.<\/p>\n<p>The City shall review and evaluate all responsive proposals to determine which Consultant best meets the City\u2019s needs by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary to perform the required services satisfactorily. The proposal criteria are outlined in the Request for Proposals. The City may conduct interviews with top-ranking proposers to make a final selection.<\/p>\n<p>The successful consultant will be required to obtain a business license from the City and pay related fees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RFP DOCUMENTS: <\/strong>The Request for Proposals (RFP) is available under Bid Packages on the City of Guadalupe\u2019s home page at <a href=\"https:\/\/cityofguadalupe.org\/es\/bid-packages\/\">https:\/\/cityofguadalupe.org\/bid-packages\/<\/a>\u00a0 .<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL: <\/strong>Electronic proposals will be received until 5:00 PM local time on October 9, 2026. Proposals received after the specified deadline will be rejected.
