servicio al cliente en mostrador p\u00fablico; realiza investigaciones independientes para proyectos especiales; etc.<\/li><li>Ayuda en la preparaci\u00f3n de actualizaciones del Plan General, estudios de anexi\u00f3n, transporte y otros proyectos de planificaci\u00f3n especiales; prepara y modifica ordenanzas; revisa planos del sitio, dibujos de construcci\u00f3n, planos de nivelaci\u00f3n, etc.<\/li><li>Prepares Initial Studies, related environmental documents; processes ministerial and discretionary applications; maintains records and files, etc.<\/li><li>Prepares memos and staff reports; reviews construction drawings for substantial conformity with discretionary approvals; maintains planning stats for the department and generates monthly reports for the City Council, generates diagrams, exhibits, maps, etc.<\/li><li>Interprets and applies local, state, and federal planning laws and codes.<\/li><li>Develops various studies of land use, population characteristics, general economic activities, and support for the code enforcement unit (Public Safety).<\/li><li>Works with the development community and City departments in a positive and informative manner; performs field investigations and prepares reports and recommendations.<\/li><li>Assists the State in providing affordable homes, primarily through development of Accessory left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The City Council recently adopted a food truck ordinance to regulate the operation of food trucks and trailers within the City.\u00a0 Much effort has gone into the ordinance to protect established restaurants while allowing the benefits of providing a variety of food opportunities to the community during and beyond the normal hours of operation of the existing restaurants.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The ordinance allows the use of food trucks through approval of a staff-issued annual Administrative Use Permit (AUP).\u00a0 Food trucks will be able to operate independently throughout the City or through special arrangements with local industrial or commercial business owners.\u00a0 There are also opportunities to include food trucks for private parties or block parties within residential areas.\u00a0 Event organizers can also arrange to utilize food trucks when holding events in City parks or public property.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Permits can be applied for online or at the City Planning Department.\u00a0 It is important to know that prior to submittal, each application packet must include a valid Health Permit issued by the County Health Department.\u00a0 A business license must also be issued prior to beginning operations in the City.<\/span><\/p><p><span
