El alcalde sirve por un mandato de dos a\u00f1os y los miembros del Consejo sirven por un mandato de cuatro a\u00f1os. Las elecciones se llevan a cabo en el oto\u00f1o de los a\u00f1os pares de forma rotativa, por lo que cada dos a\u00f1os se eligen tres esca\u00f1os.\u00a0<\/p><p>Cada miembro del Concejo Municipal representa a la Ciudad en general, no hay distritos.<\/p><p>El Ayuntamiento establece la misi\u00f3n, la visi\u00f3n, los principios rectores y las metas de la pol\u00edtica. El Consejo tambi\u00e9n representa a la Ciudad en las siguientes agencias: Asociaci\u00f3n de Gobiernos del Condado de Santa B\u00e1rbara (SBCAG), Distrito de Control de la Contaminaci\u00f3n del Aire de Santa B\u00e1rbara (APCD), Autoridad del Agua de la Costa Central (CCWA) y Energ\u00eda Comunitaria de la Costa Central (3C Energy).<\/p><p><em><strong>El Concejo Municipal se re\u00fane el segundo y cuarto martes de cada mes a las 6:00 pm en el Sal\u00f3n del Concejo de Guadalupe, a menos que se indique lo contrario. Cada reuni\u00f3n se transmite en vivo a trav\u00e9s de YouTube.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>El <strong>Secretario Municipal<\/strong> es un cargo electo que sirve como Secretario del Concejo Municipal; asiste a las reuniones y levanta las actas.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">El Secretario Municipal sirve por un per\u00edodo de cuatro a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p><p>El <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/cityofguadalupe.org\/es\/city-administrator\/\"><strong>Administrador de la ciudad<\/strong><\/a><\/span> Es un contratado por el Ayuntamiento y es responsable de la implementaci\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas del Ayuntamiento, planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica y sostenibilidad fiscal. ORDINARIAS<\/span>: La agenda que contenga una breve descripci\u00f3n general (aproximadamente veinte palabras de extensi\u00f3n) de cada asunto a considerar o discutir debe publicarse al menos 72 horas antes de la reuni\u00f3n.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">REUNIONES ESPECIALES:<\/span> Se debe proporcionar un aviso de veinticuatro horas a los miembros del cuerpo
