El alcalde y el ayuntamiento<\/p>

El Ayuntamiento de Guadalupe est\u00e1 formado por un Alcalde y cuatro Concejales. El alcalde sirve por un mandato de dos a\u00f1os y los miembros del Consejo sirven por un mandato de cuatro a\u00f1os. Las elecciones se llevan a cabo en el oto\u00f1o de los a\u00f1os pares de forma rotativa, por lo que cada dos a\u00f1os se eligen tres esca\u00f1os.\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0Cada miembro del Concejo Municipal representa a la Ciudad en general, no hay distritos.<\/p>

El Ayuntamiento establece la misi\u00f3n, la visi\u00f3n, los principios rectores y las metas de la pol\u00edtica. El Consejo tambi\u00e9n representa a la Ciudad en las siguientes agencias: Asociaci\u00f3n de Gobiernos del Condado de Santa B\u00e1rbara (SBCAG), Distrito de Control de la Contaminaci\u00f3n del Aire de Santa B\u00e1rbara (APCD), Autoridad del Agua de la Costa Central (CCWA) y Energ\u00eda Comunitaria de la Costa Central (3C Energy).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"\"Breve biograf\u00eda<\/strong>: Nac\u00ed en Sisters Hospital, Santa Mar\u00eda y crec\u00ed toda mi vida en Guadalupe asistiendo al Distrito Escolar de Guadalupe, la Escuela Secundaria Righetti y el Hancock Junior College antes de alistarme en la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de los Estados Unidos y estar destinado en Castle AFB, Merced California durante cuatro a\u00f1os. Dado de baja honorablemente como sargento de personal en 1972, se matricul\u00f3 inmediatamente en Fresno State, Fresno California. Egresada en 1975 con maestr\u00eda en trabajo social con macro concentraci\u00f3n enfocada en desarrollo comunitario, gesti\u00f3n de salud y educaci\u00f3n comunitaria. Fui miembro de la comisi\u00f3n de recreaci\u00f3n de la ciudad de Guadalupe durante cuatro a\u00f1os antes de ser elegido para mis primeros cuatro mandatos como concejal de la ciudad en 1980. He servido como concejal durante varios per\u00edodos durante los \u00faltimos 18 a\u00f1os y como alcalde pro temporario durante dos a\u00f1os. Como actual alcalde, estoy cumpliendo mi tercer mandato de dos a\u00f1os hasta diciembre de 2024.\u00a0<\/p>

Estoy jubilado con m\u00e1s de 21 a\u00f1os como Director Ejecutivo de Guadalupe Community Health Centers Inc. y 18 a\u00f1os como Director de Instalaciones de Community Health Centers de la Costa Central. Trabaj\u00e9 en Marian Medical Center como coordinadora de educaci\u00f3n para la salud y durante varios a\u00f1os como consejera y desarrolladora de contratos en un programa local de capacitaci\u00f3n para trabajadores agr\u00edcolas sin fines de lucro. He sido certificado por OSHA federal y de California como entrenador certificado en seguridad. Participo activamente en programas de desarrollo deportivo juvenil, miembro fundador del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama del Deporte de Guadalupe, miembro de un grupo local de veteranos y voluntario para programas de desarrollo de instalaciones y mantenimiento de parques locales de la ciudad. Mi objetivo como funcionario electo de la ciudad es trabajar con otros para garantizar que todos los residentes de la comunidad reciban el m\u00e1s alto servicio por parte de los funcionarios locales y el personal de la ciudad.<\/p>

Vivi\u00f3 en San Bruno, Manhattan Beach, Nueva York y San Francisco.<\/p>

Trabaj\u00f3 en San Francisco, Los \u00c1ngeles, Nueva York, Oakland, Novato y Napa.<\/p>

Carrera: Recursos Humanos<\/p>

Despu\u00e9s de vivir fuera durante 30 a\u00f1os, regres\u00f3 a Guadalupe y se jubil\u00f3 de la Ciudad de Guadalupe despu\u00e9s de 13 a\u00f1os como el primer Gerente de Recursos Humanos.<\/p>

Soy fan\u00e1tico de los Dodgers de toda la vida. Firme defensor de la Biblioteca Guadalupe y la alfabetizaci\u00f3n. Presidente de los Amigos de la Biblioteca Guadalupe. Representante de Guadalupe ante el Comit\u00e9 Asesor de Bibliotecas del Condado de Santa B\u00e1rbara. Disfrute de caminatas y carreras de 5 y 10 km aqu\u00ed en el Valle de Santa Mar\u00eda y San Francisco.<\/p>

Breve biograf\u00eda<\/strong>: \u00a1\u00a1Hola!! Nac\u00ed en el Valle de Santa Mar\u00eda y he sido residente de Guadalupe toda la vida. Mi pasi\u00f3n por la equidad social comenz\u00f3 cuando comenc\u00e9 a trabajar para organizaciones sin fines de lucro y experiment\u00e9 visualmente de primera mano las desventajas que tiene la comunidad rural. Los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os he trabajado con organizaciones sin fines de lucro. Tengo una profunda pasi\u00f3n por atraer miembros y organizaciones de la comunidad y establecer equidad para todos.<\/p>

He servido como presidente del Club de Leones de Guadalupe y del Comit\u00e9 de Guadalupe durante los \u00faltimos 5 a\u00f1os.<\/p>

Mi mayor pasi\u00f3n es conectar mi comunidad con el aire libre local. \u00a1Me encanta caminar por las dunas y buscar hacer nuevas conexiones con otras personas que tienen la misma pasi\u00f3n!<\/p>

Breve biograf\u00eda<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0I grew up on the Central Coast and have lived in Guadalupe for the past eight years. My first job was at my mother\u2019s antiques store in Arroyo Grande. She owned and operated her store for over 20 years, and that is where my passion for small businesses was born.<\/p>

After attending Arroyo Grande High School, then Cuesta College for my general education, I went on to study business. I received my undergraduate in Business Administration, and my graduate degree in Management and Leadership. The knowledge I gained from my education has allowed me to help a number of small businesses over the last decade by providing assistance with licensing, administration and human resources consulting. I currently work for NASA\u2019s prime contractor, a.i. solutions, at Vandenberg Space Force Base.<\/p>

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. My oldest daughter plays basketball for a local club team and my youngest will begin transitional kindergarten this fall. We love to spend time at the beach and take walks at Oso Flaco together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
