Santa Barbara County Alerts

ReadySBC Alerts is the County’s notification system that allows public safety officials to alert community members of emergencies and any necessary protective actions, such evacuation and sheltering in place. The Guadalupe Public Safety Department provides a full-service response to law enforcement, fire safety, and emergency preparedness issues within the City of Guadalupe. We are committed to providing a safe community in which to live, shop and visit. Under a community service model, the Public Safety Department is an integral part of the community.

El Departamento de Seguridad Pública cuenta con personal las 24 horas del día para satisfacer las necesidades de la comunidad. Las personas que solicitan asistencia reciben una respuesta muy rápida, un servicio cortés y un alto grado de competencia por parte de nuestro personal profesional.

Como Director de Seguridad Pública, soy responsable de la gestión del Departamento de Policía, el Departamento de Bomberos y la Oficina de Preparación para Emergencias. La consolidación de la estructura de gestión ha demostrado ser beneficiosa para la comunidad y el personal a través de una mejor coordinación de todas las necesidades de seguridad pública con una reducción de los costos administrativos.

Es un placer y un honor servir a la comunidad de Guadalupe como Director de Seguridad Pública y Jefe de Policía.

To pay a citation issued by the Guadalupe Police Department please go to this link at pticket.com

  1. Fill out a Department of Justice Standard Application for a California State CCW Application. (California State CCW Application)
  2. Obtain certification by an approved CCW Firearms Instructor.
  3. Obtain an evaluation by an approved psychologist and passing a Psychological examination.

Fill out a Service Request Form. All requests will be reviewed and addressed in accordance with The City of Guadalupe policies and within the limits of available resources.
