AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA
POR EL PRESENTE SE DA AVISO that the City Council of the City of Guadalupe will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2026, in the City Council Chambers, 918 Obispo Street, Guadalupe, California, to consider the following matter:
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE AMOUNT OF THE ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE FOR OWNERS OF VACANT COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.
Guadalupe Municipal Code Chapter 8.80 (the Vacant Commercial Building Registration and Property Maintenance ordinance) requires owners of vacant commercial buildings (as defined by the ordinance) to, among other things, file an annual registration form providing certain information about the vacant building. The ordinance also provides that the City Council can establish the amount of the fee for the filing of the annual registration form, including all costs associated with administering and enforcing the provisions of the ordinance. Staff has determined that the City’s annual cost to administer and enforce the provisions of the ordinance with respect to a vacant commercial building is $1,154.
In compliance with Government Code Section 66016, data indicating the amount of cost, or estimated cost, required to provide the service (s) for which the fee or service charge is levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the service(s) shall be available for public inspection at City Hall on or after Friday, October 16, 2026, as part of the staff report and resolution that will be included as part of the Council’s Agenda for the meeting of October 27, 2026, and on the City’s website at www.ciudaddeguadalupe.org.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that if you challenge the approval of this text amendment, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at public hearings before the City or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing.
