Dear Community Members,
Allan Hancock College is hosting a “campfire” event for current and potential advisory committee members. Community Education is part of the Noncredit Counseling Advisory Committee, and we’re looking to increase our advisory committee with current and future community partners. I’m extending this invite to each of you to strengthen our partnership and service to the community.
This event is our first joint (all) Advisory Committee meeting and occurs this month on Thursday, September 17, from 5-7 p.m., on the Santa Maria campus (see attached flyer). The meeting will start with a joint session to discuss the purpose and goals of advisory committees. Then, each committee will meet separately while having dinner (provided), along with coffee, hot chocolate, and s’mores. No parking pass will be required; please park in lots 1, 2, and 3.
