Special Events:

One of the most special traditions the fire department has maintained for the past 55+ years is the candy give-away that is carried out every Christmas morning. On Christmas morning, members of the fire department take the fire engines (complete with a Santa Claus on each engine!) and with sirens sounding and lights flashing, drive through all the neighborhoods, passing out 4,000 bags of packaged, assorted candies to every family child.
